Time skips

Stonetop often has you gloss over stretches of time. You might cover days, weeks, or months of travel or downtime with little more than a brief description and a few questions for the PCs. But sometimes, you want to zoom way out and jump farther forward in time. Maybe you reach the end of a story arc and you'd like to let things breathe, or let the PCs age and mature. Perhaps your group takes a break for real-world reasons, and you want to reflect that in the fiction. A PC might head off to Lygos and you want to jump ahead to their return. Or maybe there's a big shake-up and you want to skip the immediate aftermath.

How you handle a time skip depends largely on its length.
