4 Synthesis

Take the details you've established so far and imagine the artifact that they suggest. Fill in missing details and make decisions. What is this artifact, exactly? What was it originally for? How did it come to be, or be here? You don't need the artifact's full history, but try to envision something that makes sense and that at least hints at a story.

It's okay to change or discard some of the details you established earlier, or interpret them loosely or metaphorically. They're meant to spur your creativity, not limit it.

So: a mundane curiosity, inherently valuable, with a theme of "plants and growing things." I picture a silver sphere, the size of a fist, with a filigree vine-and-leaf pattern. It was probably just a pretty thing, a grave good buried with the Green Lord that rolled behind a plinth or some rubble.
