Inserts
Every playbook comes with an insert, a half-page sheet that you can slip inside your folded playbook. Copies of these are provided for reference in this book, starting on Inserts
Every playbook gets an insert for tracking your current inventory, the other side of which is used to track followers or playbook-specific information, such as the Lightbearer's invocations or the Marshal's crew.
The Blessed and Ranger might have special inserts, if you take a particular background or move. The Seeker gets an additional insert for their major arcanum (see Book II). So does the Heavy, but only
if you pick the Storm-marked background Storm-marked.
You can gain new inserts during play. If you die and you refuse to step through the Last Door, then you gain the Ghost, Revenant, or Thrall inserts (pages 148, 150, and 152). Your GM might also give you a custom-made insert to represent a unique set of abilities that your character acquires during play (see Writing Moves & Love Letters, page 549).
